Mortars and concrete are the fundamental components of much of the construction industry in the UK. Generally, a concrete is a cementitious material containing aggregates with dimensions greater than 5mm, whereas a mortar is a cementitious material containing aggregates with dimensions less than 5mm.

Concrete Mixers
Recommended Concrete Mixers for laboratory testing of small amounts are the CreteAngle® Forced Action Pan Concrete Mixer Model S, Model CF 28 and Model CF 35.
Recommended Concrete Mixers for larger quantities and more regular use are the Model LE Standard Duty and the Model M.
