CreteAngle® Model 'FE' Forced Action Mixer
The CreteAngle® Multiflow Forced Action Mixer Model 'FE' is designed for factory production, being most suitable for semi-dry to low-slump materials, including concrete. The use of additional barrows with one machine increases output and facilitates dealing with different types of mix in succession.
The barrow can be tipped to discharge the contents directly onto the floor. Alternatively, the material can be shovelled or scooped out easily, due to the low height of the pan.
The mixing action consists of four driven blades on a central spider, two static mixing blades plus a scraper blade which keeps the side of the pan clean.This special blade configuration ensures efficient and thorough mixing. The mixing blades are hard-faced on the leading edges to prolong life. Spare parts are readily available from stock.
The barrow locks into the head prior to mixing. When mixed, the operator releases the barrow with the foot pedal, and wheels the barrow away to discharge the material.
Important safety features incorporated in the design are:
- Automatic power take-up which allows drive to the motor only when the head is introduced into the pan
- The mixer cannot be operated without a barrow locked into the mixing head and as the mixing head is lifted, drive to the motor stops.
